Market access, not just transparency
Two regulations now decide whether your crop can be sold abroad.
Traceability stopped being a goodwill exercise. For a growing list of crops, an importer in the EU or the US cannot legally accept your consignment without records you are expected to produce on demand. RigoTrace is built to hold exactly those records, per lot, from the day you plant.
EU Deforestation Regulation
EUDR · Regulation (EU) 2023/1115Applies to coffee, cocoa, soy, palm oil, cattle, rubber and timber entering the EU. Operators must hold plot-level geolocation for the land the commodity was grown on, plus a due-diligence statement proving it was not linked to deforestation.
What RigoTrace holds: field and plot identification per lot, chain of custody through aggregation, and an exportable record for your due-diligence filing.
US FDA Food Traceability Rule
FSMA Section 204Applies to foods on the FDA Food Traceability List, including many fresh fruits and vegetables. Anyone in the chain must keep Key Data Elements at each Critical Tracking Event and produce them to the FDA within 24 hours of a request.
What RigoTrace holds: harvest, packing, and shipping events with lot codes and dates, exportable as a sortable spreadsheet.
Compliance dates for both regimes have been amended more than once and differ by company size. Confirm the deadline that applies to you with your importer or the official register before you plan around it. Agririgo holds the records; it does not file on your behalf and is not a substitute for legal advice.

Rigo Studio
One photograph. Real hectares. A record your buyer can check.
Rigo Studio reads the altitude your drone already wrote into the file, so a traced weed patch comes back as square metres and a count becomes plants per hectare. Rigo AI names what it sees, your corrections train a detector your aircraft can carry, and the finding follows the crop all the way to the QR code on the bag.
It runs on your device. Nothing uploads, nothing queues, and there is no flight to plan first.

Every scan is a lead. Every passport is due diligence.
RigoTrace isn't only for consumers checking where their food came from. When a retailer, distributor or exporter scans a passport, they can leave their company name and contact details directly on the scan, no account required. Those voluntary submissions land in a dedicated “Business leads” panel on the farmer or cooperative's dashboard, next to a full breakdown of who is scanning, from where, and how often.

Every handoff from field to buyer, timestamped and attached to the passport, the record an importer's compliance team wants to see.
Our RigoShield heuristic flags a passport or printed unit scanned from two countries in a short window, a sign of a cloned label.
This is voluntary, self-declared information left by whoever scans the code, not a verified identity check. It is designed to give producers real distribution intelligence, not to replace formal KYC/AML compliance for regulated transactions.
Built for the network we actually have
A passport nobody can open is not a passport.
Most traceability platforms assume a smartphone, a data bundle and a good signal. Across much of Zambia and the region that assumption fails at exactly the moment it matters: at the collection point, in the field, at a roadside market. So the record has to be reachable in more than one way.
No app, ever
The QR opens in the phone's own camera and renders as an ordinary web page. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for, and no account needed to read a passport.
Type the code instead
A damaged or unreadable label is not a dead end. The traceability code is printed in plain text underneath, and can be typed into verify.agririgo.com, a deliberately tiny page that loads on a weak connection.
USSD, for phones with no internet
The menu logic is written and running in production: enter a traceability code and it returns the crop, farm, season and trust status as plain text, no data bundle involved. Turning it into a dialable code requires a short code allocated through a Zambian mobile operator or aggregator, which we do not yet have.
We are publishing this as work in progress rather than as a feature you can use today. There is no number to dial yet.
Ten interface languages are live across the platform, including Bemba, Tonga, Nyanja, Lozi, Zulu and Shona, because the person holding the bag is not always reading English.
RigoContinuity
A website going down should never mean a QR code stops working.
A printed QR code can outlive any single web deployment. If agririgo.com is ever unreachable, because of a bad deploy, a hosting incident, or maintenance, the passports behind every printed label are still verifiable. RigoContinuity is a second, independent lookup service, deployed on its own infrastructure, under its own subdomain, that reads the same passport records directly and shows a reduced but trustworthy summary: crop, variety, farm, season and trust status.
- A separate deployment, on a separate project, so one broken build cannot take down both.
- No account, database driver, or server framework of its own, plain, static, and hard to break.
- Anyone can type the traceability code printed on the label to verify it, with or without a working QR scanner.
